Luckily the airport isn’t located very far from the city of La Rochelle. Just over a mile from the town limits. Better yet there is a local bus service to and from the airport. During the week and on Saturdays line 7 has service and on Sundays it is line 40.
La Rochelle airport is easily accessible from N237/E602 road. Exit 'Laleu - Aéroport' follow signs for 'La Rochelle-Ré'. Or from central La Rochelle, drive N11 road and follow signs 'Laleu - La Pallice'.
The trip via bus takes about 20 minutes and costs 1.20€. The bus stop is close to the airport terminal. Depending on the time of day there are 2-3 buses an hour. The official La Rochelle Airport has an on-line schedule.
